We endeavour to anticipate your queries here but if you need further information, please get in touch!
How can I use the workshop facilities?
You can begin by joining in on one of our regular print courses (see Courses section for details), or become a member which can allow you access to the studio. N.B. membership is dependent on Committee approval - please enquire through the Membership page.
What are the Introductory Courses?
We ask that all new members take the Introductory Course, which will give you essential information on equipment, use of the workshop, health and safety procedure, materials, and introduce you to a network of support. Membership is dependent on having taken an Introductory Course, and it is a great introduction to other members. For details of upcoming courses, you can email courses@pooleprintmakers.co.uk
Can I join you partway through the membership year?
Yes - membership renewal or sign up occurs annually in March, but depending on member numbers, we will always try to accommodate new requests throughout the year.
Can I bring a friend to the workshop?
Unfortunately not. We are a member-only facility and bringing along friends or family to the workshop may contravene our insurance criteria. If you need to discuss an exceptional circumstance, please email us at enquiries@pooleprintmakers.co.uk and we’ll try to help.
What catering facilities do you have?
Space in the studio is prioritised for printing…we have basic tea/coffee making facilities and you are welcome to bring your own packed lunch to eat in the garden area. Local shops and sandwich shops are convenient to the workshop. Remember to bring your own milk for hot drinks.
Do Poole Printmakers have a car park?
There is a public car park conveniently adjacent to us, or alternative multi-storey parking close by. See our Contact page for details.
